Electronic Document Management System for Public Parastatals (eDOCS) An electronic document management system is a system used to track, manage and store documents and reduce paper. In this context, ‘documents’ are any of a myriad of information assets including images, office documents, graphics, and drawings as well as the new electronic objects such as Web pages, email, instant messages, and video. The system offers a centralised storage for all the documents and these files are accessible to only the ones that have been granted access to them or the ones having rights over them.
