Top Uganda Health Innovations to look out for

The government of Uganda recognises the role ICT plays in development programs and is investing heavily in nurturing home grown ICT innovations to provide local solutions to local problems. During the recently concluded first call for innovations in the National ICT Initiatives Support Program (NIISP), 350 applications were received in a bid for support from the Uganda Government; these covered most major sectors including health, agriculture, Education and many more.

Of these, 6 cutting-edge health innovations were re-invited to present to a joint team of officials from Ministry of ICT & National Guidance together with experts from Ministry of Health to ensure that the health innovations would be beneficial to the health sector in Uganda.
